What it ain't, my IllBrethren...!?

I'm looking for software, preferably cheap/free(if such is available), that will do a good job in backing up my files.

What I want it to do;
- Option to chose how often it 'syncs' files. (and to not delete files deleted from comp)
- Option to backup from/to specific drive locations.

I find most backup software will just backup all your audio files together, all your image files together, and so on.
I find this un-useful for what I want to do. I want to keep all my specific project-related files together. As they are in their original folders.

It seems most backup software is opting for the 'oh lets just group similar files together'.

Know of any good ones?

Because it doesn't allow me to back up from/to specific drive locations.

I want all my beat/project files stored in their relevant locations, I don't want the project file being stored along with miscelaneous crap, while the relevant audio for that project is stored along with random mp3s.

It's whack. Software that came with the drive does the same thing. Suitable perhaps for normal consumers, not so much when you got specific purpose in mind.

Got it downloaded, just plugged in my second external/backup.

I've already got folders I copy pasted to those drives... I'm hopefully going to be able to point the relevant folders to eachother n watch it work its magic. Will let know how it all goes.

I've just installed and got it running right now. Hopefully it works a gem.

I love the options to be able to either 'Synchronise', 'Echo' or 'Contribute' ... the latter is what I'm going for.

I'll update on how it goes!

Had any luck with it, Dacalion?
