Aux Ins

How do u lot rate the sound quality of aux ins in comparisson to line in? cause ive been switchin between line in and aux when recording into my sblive card.

but the sblive's line in is hella noisy, the aux in is quieter but things tend to clip easier using aux in.

any thouhts on this?

Hey,

Aux ins on a Live? On my Live there is only a Digital Out (yellow), Line In (blue), Mic In (pink), Line Out 1 (green), and Line Out 2 (black).

It doesn't get better than the Line In on the Live card...are you plugging into the Mic in by chance? Or are you using some sort of front panel thing that has other inputs?

i`ve seen this done before using aux as a input however not much control with line signal going thru. more better for reverb ect.
