yeah. its very tempermental. its not a big problem once you get used to it. its alot cheaper ANd easier to go the software route nowadays. if my asr ever dies, thats probably what i'd do.

I love that machine too. I kind of like that people have slept on it. It makes it that more special to own one. I bought mine for about 500 beans and it was well worth it. Have any of yall hooked up a mic to it? or a cd player to sample cd's? Let me know how this is done. Thanks

You don't have the manual?It's been a while since i used it but you just have to find the in on the back to sample if you don't have an 8 out board it sould be real easy to find and push on some buttons on the machine to find out how to trigger the sampler or just go to the ensoniq web site and you can get the manual in pdf form
