@ $1300 bucks im not sure, there's quite some competition in that pricerange but still...

Its a bit funny though;

-Mac only
-Adat in only (over 2 toslinks, why not regular adat port ?!?!)
-Midi in only

They mention the usage of aggregated devices with ensemble, duet but afaik, the only brand that has got that perfectly under the belt is Lynx.

For itb its fine but if you wish to expand on itb with little outboard stuff than its probably not for you.

I wanted to get rid of my mbox, since I'm considering a protools upgrade.....

I think the sound that comes out the apogee (a friend has it) just sounds better.

I sware(sp) by the rosetta, but I'm not sold on the symphony. Will have to try this out first, because i could def see some good use if it works how i'd like it too.
