Anyone usin M-Audio midi wit FL???

I was told I can assign a kick to one key and a snare to another and a hat to another,,,,,etc. I have the manual, but it doesn't mention that anywhere.

Why don't you just load all drum sample in the Directwave sampler or any sampler.
Then you can have the drums across the keys

What product exactly? Trigger Finger? Keystation?

Like breal said load up DirectWave or even better, FPC. Or you could use layers.

check out NI's Battery... similar to FL's FPC but a lot more... and it has multiple outputs so you can layout each patch to a mixer channel, I think it's 8 out but i'm not sure now... i don't really use it with FL cuz i prefer to work each drum sound individualy in the step sequencer... but i do use it a lot with logic...
but definately FL's FPC will do what you want to do if you're looking to play drums across the midi controller...
