anyone see the new source with 50?

has anyone read this issue? its crazy... the source is going all crazy... they are basically calling 50 a fraud, saying that his story is full of holes (50 says the man that shot him aint breathing, but the man he says shot him was dead like two weeks before he supposedly shot 50, talking about the order of protection he has from irv gotti, he's a name dropper... all sorts of things..) there is an article about a split in the aftermath camp, an article about eve possibly leaving ruff ryders and a lot of allusions to her joining aftermath (cant see why after dre dropped her like a bad habit..) and there is an article about rappers hiding behind their bodyguards, and at the end there is a picture of the cover of God's Son, only its "God's Baby" and a picture of Nas crying, and it says:featuring tracks like "i'm takin my ball and goin home" and "nobody likes me" and "stop picking on me" and "i'm telling mamma" (i think i may have made that last one up.....)

there is even a page and a half letter from dave mays and benzino (i think it was just benzino to be honest) which kind of made me ill..... they are just going off the deep end now, turning everything into a full scale, three ring circus..... talking about how they are the only ones that are true to the streets and the people, how hip hop was a "divine blessing to the people of the strugle" and how other magazines are ran by "nerds with college degrees" when dave mays' white, not struggling at all, i-went-to-harvard ass is right there burning a rolling stone and the last XXL issue of nas burning magazines with mr. benzino himself.....

hey, anyone here feeling made men, or benzino? he says "the streets been feelin rso, made men and benzino from day one!"

anyhow its the best issue in a while! i am kind of enjoying watching this whole XXL vs Source beef..... i think its just hilarious.

i mean the momoent 50 went 2 eminem camp... THE SOURCE turned AGAINST interscope..... and went 2 hell...

putting out the most racist material i have ever seen....... i grew up on THE SOURCE... but almost every issue this year has been garbage.... that stupid ass cartoon in the back.... that bullshit... benzino ripping eminem .... and his sorry ass interview.... these guys talk lke if they wor apart of the struggle.....

the sad thing is i've met Benzino... and he's a cool as dude.... and he's a real ass person... but the way he's twisted one of the greatest Hip Hop magazine for his own personal benifit disgust me.... i don't enjoy reading it no more....
i don't believe in it's credibility.... INTERSCOPE didn't even go after them... the fucken magazine came 2 them....

I haven't seen that issue because I gave up on the Source a long time ago. It used to be my hiphop bible but not anymore. Occasionally I might pick up XXL but even that's pushing it.

Looks like the Source got caught up in all the drama and that seems to be their main focus. Instead of trying to defend themselves and their actions, they should just go back to making a solid mag that everyone will enjoy.

benzino is garbage and has no place in hip hop to diss em, or dr dre, personaly I think the argument is good but not the one whos presenting it , if that argument benzino making is gonna be posed it have to be someone of a more credible character like Jay z or puffy, and belive it or not once I saw this shit benzino was doing happening I cancled my subscription....man the source went down in flames...

that type of shit is why im not renewing my subscription to the sauce they have became trash in my mail box, the only reason they are acting like that toard all the interscope/aftermath/shady artist is because benzino calls himself having beef with eminem just because em is white and hes moving more units than a lot of cats now days. to me that is some racist shit #1 and benzino has never moved major units and he has ben out for a while. he is straigh up trash, he copies everithing he has no creativity in my opinion, he just needs to give it up alredy and get the money he is getting from being part owner of the sause and from his romeo / bow ow wanabe son.

Staright up, The Source = Trash. I used to always look forward to reading the source, now its staright shit. Benzino just tries to throw as many shots at INterscope as he can. Read that new XXL with Nas on the cover. He talks about how XXL and The Source dont even get what hip hop is.

Damn, the Source...that brings back memories, like Fade, that used to be a part of my Hip-Hop bible, back when Yo Mtv Raps was still aired here in Denmark...but haven't picked up a copy since approx. 97, shit sold out already back then...articles got worse and the mag featured more Gucci, Versace and other commercials than actual articles.

what it is , is benzino and mays see's the comp from xxl and their sales are way down along with that you have magazines like feds felon and don diva that have shit for the streets..And to top it all off I stopped along with a lot of other people I know buying the source when benzino gave him self a 2 page ad for his last album . He got a free ad and didn't sell at all his beef with eminem is somthing he created thinking he would get a strong following with playing the race card but set himself up for failure by doing so....And if people were feeling the almighty rso and made men there would have never been made men because the sucess and status of the almight rso would stopped them from changing the name
