Mixed Martial Arts. MMA baby all the way.
Anybody that wants to learn boxing, wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Muay Thai, and a plethora of other martial arts should check it out. Its not as expressive an art form as Wu shu, which is used in movies. (think Jet Li). But If you like to scrap or just like to train or just like to learn varying martial arts this is hands down the Illest martial art that is always evolving. New submissions new moves from other martial arts new fighters all day every day.

Bruce Lee wanted to take what works and said F tradition and black belts and forms. He trained with boxers, wrestlers, and submission experts like Karl Gotch and was the predictor of MMA. Bruce Lee also stated that it is an art. So one person may like the art of Wu shu and fancy flips, but if you like to train hardcore MMA is the meat and potatoes of martial arts.

The only drawback is you get a lot of ignorant suckas that just want to fight and don't respect or give a thought about how the sport has evolved. But every sport like boxing has bums in it. Right now MMA is still in its growing stages. Like when boxing came out people were like that's barbaric, which people think bout MMA. But look at the light heavyweight champ 45 yr old Randy Couture who is in top condition only 1 death in all MMA history as opposed to hundreds in boxing. I just had to defend MMA cause I love it. So yeah I go to schools and learn out here in Chicago.

I know...they get 2 expensive... I heard Dana White(pres. of UFC) has a deal with foxsport or Spike for UFC's to be shown on there, which would be 2 sweeeeeet!! Where you living X? I know some good fighter and where they train.

Anyhow the finale of Ultimate Fighter this past saturday rocked!! Forest and the "american psycho" almost killed each other, but I love Forest's demeanor. He was telling Psycho right after the fight " one helluva fight" and wasn't concerned bout the actual decion of winning or losing.

I remember watching UFC with Ken Shamrock vs. Royce Gracie in my friends basement like "why the hell dont' they fight?" The sport has come a long way since then. How'd you get interested in it X?

I won 1st place in Grand Nationals for both Sparring and Forms in Tae Kwon Do. My mom was a 3rd degree blackbelt in ATA (American TaeKwonDo Association) and so she brought me since a little kid. It was pretty amazing - Grand Nationals is the biggest tournament in America so for the year of 1988 I was the Champion for my age and rank for the entire US

"Shaolin special technique...'Shadow Boxing". I love that movie. I was in Tae Kwon Do when I was younger, but quit(more like moved to another state). I've always wanted to get back into it. Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, also you can study with real Shaolin monks too, see it on the internet somewhere. That would be dope!
