Anyone else have a problem with...

...snares. I was listenin to some of my older beats before i got some better sounds and the snare would sound really cheap but when i would try to use some of the new snares i have they jus wouldnt fit so jus wonderin if anyone else has those snare wars every once in a while

if you were usin cheap sounds for the whole beat and then you try and put a real good soundin snare in the mix it won't sound right. you have to start will quality sounds drums, hi-hat, bass etc or something won't sound right. this happened to me also my advice stay away from fruity loops sounds-there frail

in that case, have to change the whole drum kit (kick, snare, hihat) for it to sound right... that would be easier than to try to find the snare that'll fit with the rest...

yea ive often found myself juss goin back and redoin everything its also good cuz i get new ideas on how to make everything stand out more now that i have tons of better sounds i was addicted for like a week gettin every kit available to man juss to end up deletin a gig of sounds because i knew i wouldnt use most of em

I usually layer sounds if it doesnt sound right with just that particular sound.
