In my opinion tha reason so many people are tryin to get free beats is cuz theres too many other producers, or whatever you wanna call them fuckin up tha game for tha people who are really tryin to benefit and capitalize on theyre art cuz those fuckers are givin theyre shit away for free or for nearly nothing and theres so many of them nowadays on soundclick that when u get that average shopper lookin for beats he knows he can go get so-and-so's free shit that sux but is free so they think everyone on SC should be free to or some shit!?!?

YES! ...... I agree. People where I live do the same thing. There are other producers out here that give beats away and sell beats for a dub sack of weed or 20 beats on a CD for $10 bucks. Just because the other producers sell themself short they want me to do the same thing. FUCK THAT! I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for. 20 beats for $10? HA! ....

I dont think they are fucking up the game, you might not believe this, buckle up and hold on to your seat, there are people out there that just want to make music, not for a living, but in their free time, as a hobby, skilled or unskilled, and they just are looking for some guys that wanna do the same, So they both collaborate for free because they want to learn and create, and they dont fuckin care about the game, let the game be the game, some people just wanna make music and arent money hungry vultures.

I dont think you're a money hungry vulture for asking for money for a beat.....As for me, I would like this to be my career in the future. And I'm taking many risks with schools and other things in order to make that dream come true. I would never go and sell beats for so cheap.

As for the original post, you got nothing to worry bout. If he wants the beat, sell it to him. There's no way he can jack you or anythin, and long as you got the original files/copies and enough proof to show tht you made the beat, you're good....Look at it this way, he's not gonna jack your beat and go anywhere with it, because let's say he does blow up, you'll hear that shit on the radio, and sue his ass for way more than you'd ever sell the beat for.......Most of these guys are basement rappers who aren't goin anywhere and don't have the drive to go anywhere with their talents. Just tell him before he gets shit, u want a money order or whatever....Be straight with him....Remember, HE came to YOU!!! That gives you the upper hand and you the ability to make the rules......Just be smart about it

my dear swivel concerning the money hungry vultures off course i was exagerating because of the fact i think that producers giving out beats for free are fucking up the game for those who want good money for their beats is also exagerated... the game (such a stupid word???) doesnt evolve on soundclick, it evolves around people who are bringing out albums eps etcetara and are performing.. there is no scene on soundclick.. so if you talking about game, dont be talking selling best be building and hunting for it with something concrete not with snacks.
