Any SP 1200 Users here?

I have mine coming in the mail as I write this. Any words of advice/tips in regards to this Machine would be greatly appreciated. I am also curious as to how you use it in your set up. For me, I plan to sample and chop everything in my MPC 1K then go from there.

I probably spent five or six hundred hours on the SP1200, been all MPC1000 for the last four years. I do miss having an SP though.
PM me if you need some tips or wanna meet up, I can show you how to rock it in a minute. It's super fun and easy to get going on.

I use it for all of my drums, occasionally bass notes. I love the punch and filters.

Gotr one, I have to get with dahk to try and fix it over the phone, fun machine. Much more basic than your mpc1k tho.

Every thing you need to know is right on the top panel . It is a very simple machine that you should learn pretty quick . My advise is try to make whole beats with it ( baselines and all .) If you can do that , you will see your overall sampling skills will improve and you might get hooked on it.
