nah man sorry thats all i know of. If your spending a G why not get a good synth kayboard for around 700 to 800 and the akai mpd 16 pads which is around 200 and sequence with software. Of course you would also need to get a good sound card for computer recording if you haven't got one.

If the combination of mpc like pads and a synth is what your looking for i would suggest getting a synth keyboard and the akai mpd 16 pads and use them together. Just find a synth that you can afford along with the mpd 16 pads.

MPC2KXL is a good one in midi thru mode, I have a link for you on this. It might give you a different perspective on your setup. At least when assuming your setup is hardware biased. If it's not then there isnt really a purpose into buying a hardware sequencer at all. You also must look at this, if you buy a workstation you get a lot of features which, when realising a different preference for the feature, will be unused. You still pay a lot for such a workstation even if you dont like the sound and also workstations have limited sequencer capabilities oppossed to the pc or mpc. And it's the whole package you pay a lot of money for, so the feature's embedded into those workstations should be replaced by their hardware equivalent matching your persponal preference. How to know your preference is to play around with gear in the store or ask for a trial at your home fro a few days. They mostly do it when it concerns a reasonable amount of spending or expensive items like $1300 modules. Just think about it...

Anyway here's the link http://www.mpc2000xl.com/mpc_computer.htm
