anyone know how to stop the redrumm machine from playing in your mix im likin the beats im makin on reason but the drums kick in right from the start up intill the very end im not feelin it,i know theres gutta be a way to punch it in and cut it off when u want i havent figured it out yet tho,can sum1 help me out

There's also a great tutorial at http://www.propellerhead.se/ and of course the manual is definitely worth reading...actually, I feel you got to...to learn all about your software and how it works in order to get the most out of it.

WU - Do you simply jus want to fade your drums in then out?

If so, this is very simple if you havent already figured it out.

Just do this:

Right click on your mixer and then choose - create sequencer track

Next - Right click again on any fader, etc. that you want to and choose AUTOMATE..........

Tha blue automation tracks should appear at tha bottom of tha sequencer and then you can use tha line tool to make a gradual slope that sounds good.

thanks yall

i did create new sequencer track for mixer 1,then right clicked again and and hit edit automation and the blue bar came up ,that right? i was tryin to fuck with the blue bar and nuthiun was goin down ,anything i did wrong?

Ok - Now your past tha complicated shit.
All you gotta do now is select tha pencil tool or tha line tool depending on what kind of slope you want. If your fading in or out i use tha line tool - it gives you a perfect fade every time and as long or as short as you want it since you draw it in. Once you got tha pencil or tha line, just draw it right in tha blue auto track....you can always delete it if you fuck up a couple times.
