I wanna record beats off my Korg TritonLe to Pro Tools LE with Digi001 via MIDI, but when i hook up the midi cables (no they arent backwards or anything like that) I can see the levels going up and down on the recording track, but when i press record it doesnt have any notes on the spot i just recorded on. I am thinking maybe there is some switch turned off or setting changed that i dont have turned on somewhere. Please help if you can. Peace.

Hey,

Something I do when troubleshooting...

Can you manually write information by clicking in notes one by one with your mouse, then play them back to your synths?

Take care,

Nick

hmmm it sound like your trying to record audio through the midi cables wich cant happen midi only sends note info and such.but if your tryn to use the midi to trigger a sound in protools check to make sure you got everything set correctly by going to the manuals.
Peace
