AKAI MPC 2500 Connection Question

Hello everyone. I have a question about how to connect AKAI MPC 2500 to a Turntable. How do I do this? Do I just connect the Turntable to a Studio Monitor and then connect the Studio Monitor to My MPC?

What turntable is it? Normally you should connect the turntable to either a DJ mixer or an audio interface then that into the MPC. From what I remember, the turntable signal is "hot". If your turntable has a ground wire then you need to hook that up to something too, this is why a DJ mixer is best since it has all that.

you can connect your studio monitors directly to the MPC's "Stereo Out"
and your turntable into the mixer then your mixers output to the "Record In"

So your setup is going to be Turntable > Mixer > MPC > Studio Monitors
