Airing Out My Feelings On The Big Trade

Im the biggest NJ Nets in this planet and the GM broke my spirit for the 2nd time in the last 5 years (including giving away Kenyon Martin)..The Nets traded my favorite basketball player of all time Jason Kidd in a 8 player deal for 3 Nets including Kidd..this shyt had me down cuz theres no player like Kidd in the league except for Steve Nash and even Nash cant do what Kidd does as far as makin players better than they really are (Nash has many weapons to work with unlike Kidd)..I wuz shocked and still feel down cuz regardless that we got alot of players and a young up and coming PG devin harris (which is really good)..I still dont feel like any player that we cuda got in return will make the impact Kidd did in Jersey..its an end of an era and i feel things in NJ will never be the same again unless the draft is good to us which better be cuz 2 first rounds picks for 08 and 2010 were included in the deal..i just really had to let this out of me cuz its sux beyond belief as a Jason kidd and a Nets fan...i knoe there are ppl who felt this way one time or another like when stress said he stopped watchin cuz shaq got traded to miami and in baseball Pedro moving to the Mets...why did Kidd have to do this to us!!!!..WHY!!!!!!

while also being a HUGE nets fan and Kidd ALSO being my FAVORITE PLAYER of all time behind mike, i feel it was a good move. d harris can play. i also like diop. wit some more burn, he might get even better. marcus williams needs to step up or hes going to get left behind. the two draft picks will also help. this whole thing was done to make salary cap room and to get younger. i love the decision by rod thorn but unfortunately we had to give one one of the best nets of all time to doit. he aint wana be there anywayz. that sets a bad morale for the team. i am lookin forward to the next 5 yrs though.

sorry but Kidd deserves a ring... there's not enuff time to turn them (the Nets) around b4 his carreer is done... the west is tough though... he STILL might not get it, but worth a try.

NJ got the better end of this deal by far. In today's pro leagues a player with enough clout does not have to play for a team if he doesn't want to and that was the case with Kidd.
Kidd is a once in a generation PG but he's on the downside of his career -
Harris has an upside and NJ can improve through the draft. In the weak Eastern conf. ANY team has a shot at making the playoffs.

If it makes you NJ fans feel any better - Kidd is wasting his time because as long as Dirk Nowitzki is Dallas' go-to-guy, they will not win a title. Kidd will make players better but the loss to GS in the 07 playoffs has the team questioning their own heart.

Kidd remins me of Magic back in the day. His assist stats are off the hook. Don't worry Fury, now you know how I felt when the LAkers got rid of Shaq. But the Lakers are fuckin nasty anyway, there's light at the end oif the tunnel.

^^^cosign, Lakers 4 life but n e way, this trade IMO is crazy Kidd was suppose to be one of the key factors to if not THE key factor to take the Mavs to the finals when he was drafted but it didnt happen. I dont think this trade is gonna help them get n e futher but I may be wrong. I think he could've went to a better place like Cleveland.

he is def not in the downside of his career..his numbers been gettin better and better as hes been gettin older..he already tied his 06-07 total of 12 double doubles in a season at the allstar break this year..but i knoe he wanted to bounce from th e Nets im just in denial cuz even wit wanting to be at another team his effort wuz better than almost every PG in the league ..i knoe we have to get rid of him if he didnt wanna be around but like damnnnn once he wuz gone its like a ghost wuz on the floor for us..i just hate losing the best pg of my generation.....
