i already watched some episodes of it, as a true anime fan i didnt like it as much and it didnt wasnt on point with the created expectation/anticipation of it.
there are far better animes around, i didnt feel the fights that much (choreography), the music didnt really fit the anime, the dialogues are annoying,,,
the only plus i saw in it was the animated style that was nice and that was about it.

Granted Ive only seen about half of an episode but what I saw was tight...

Damn, its only 5 episodes? I've only seen the last three episodes, I thought i had missed atleast 8 episodes. But the three I did see I thought they were pretty good, I enjoyed them a lot.

ninja scroll sick indeed, but afro samurai is below average only the animation i consider nice the rest is boring up till now.
and i am not hating, besides above all i wouldnt hate since it has become a word for people that cant recognize the wackness in something and it is their last defensive move lol.

Well you may be right dude, I only saw like parts of half an episode and cats were getting cut up like in ninja scroll so I was lovin that but I dont claim to be an anime conissour or anything..lol

Anime is like Hip Hop... everybody has their style.

I like anything that looks good. If it looks bad... but it has a good story line, them I'm on it. To me, AFRO looks good and has a good story line. It isn't 100% original... but, if you think about it, it is like a hip hop song.

You start with a sample, which is someone else's song, and then flip it. They took traditional anime and flipped it. Fuedal Japan and Cell Phones? That was interesting. I think the whole bandana idea was an awesome original idea. I also don't know too many animes where a samurai sliced a bullet and let the shrapnel kill the other foes. I ain't gona say it is the best anime ever, but it was mad refreshing to see. Coulda been the weed I smoked though. Don't smoke anything called "AK-47" or "White Winter"... because you won't get anything done.

All I can say is... I was impressed. He was doing stuff I wish more anime's would do. Like the part where he used his sword to block all those arrows... ILL.

If I had to pick my favorite though.. it would be KARAS. If you got Netflicks, you need to get it. You can probably YouTube it. One of the best anime's I have ever seen. You have to slow it down frame by frame on your DVD to really appreciate the fights. The list:

As cheesy as Van Damme is, he was the phukn man in the 80s. There is like only 2 or 3 other scenes where a fighter bodies Bolo Yeung and one of those scenes belong to Bruce Lee. You know how rapper always have Young in their name? I seriously was going to call myself Bolo Young. But he gets owned in every movie so I decided against. I am thinking about changing my name to Blizhniy Boy: The Ultimate Fighter. Peep it:
