sounds like you got all of the hardware pieces, now all you need is the time and ideas to bring your projects to life...you need enough 1/4 inch male connectors at least 4 pairs and maybe more....some rca m/f m/m f/f......you got a plan put it into motion....I would just basically set up my equipment in the way I want to produce the most efficient.....I would for now use the tables of course to dig for snares and kicks or whadeva....then I would use the mpc for my drumz and patterns maybe basslines.....and slave it to the triton.....and make melodies on there and just feed your outputs into the digi.......what I did with the motif and mpc2000 and protools would be to make my drum patterns and then use the transport on the mo to start the pattern on the mpc then maybe play a melody or use a sample...you can either trigger the sample on the mpc or from the mo....now I also had a triton le, not unless you got the sampling option you can load all of your samples into the mpc....and then what I would do is to use protools either by using....midi time code or midi clock to be the master when you dump your creation into protools.....if you are just using 4-8 bar loops as the basis for your tracks you can just do a punch dump meaning it will record your track only throughout the loop range and it will stop recording at the end and you can just paste repeat the bars and then you can automate and mix everything in protools......that simple or somewhere close.....I mean I could write this like a manual but this is just an overview of what you might be able to do with what you have but the master and slave relationships on the midi chain are all on how you want to do it....just like anything with music there is no right or wrong way but on the midi end of thing you gotta get all of that set up right to get it to work right and then make a diagram of each set up....the biggest headache is tearing the shidd down and then not being able to recreate it quickly this cuts into production time.....so always either take a mental note or write it down......

If you buy powered monitors you wont need and amp. I recommend Event studio monitors or Behringer i think thats how you spell it. You can go with either the Project studio series or Tuned refernce series that is of the event monitors. Sizes vary also, they come in 5 , 6, and 8 inch speakers. I currently own the TR8's and all i do is plug them into the triton directly and hook up the power chords and BAM! im set! check ebay for studio monitors or event studio monitors you can get them cheap there brand new or used or newly used :p

Also if your a little tight on money the alesis mk1 or i think there is an mk2 are pretty nice I heard. Oh yeah don't get an mpc 4000 thats a waist of money you should just get an mpc 2000xl or 3000. And a dope synth wouldn't hurt.

Thats going to depend on how you want to setup your equipment. Some people use pre-amps with their mics and some don't. As far as amps on your monitors, I use both powered speakers (when I'm just chilling and listening) and I use amps ( when I'm listening for detail or I want to really feel the sound ) so that too will depend on the type of setup you want to apply.

I'll echo that. Get a mixer w/ phantom power for the mic. A simple Mackie 1202-VLZ can do the trick. But the Digi 002 should have mic preamps right? For powered speakers check out the m-audio BX5 monitors. Those are hot. I use them. They tell the truth so prepare for honesty. They play it exactly how it sounds. You can use a simple Shure SM57 mic and download the Antares mic Modeler software to model any mic.
