A newbie..Help & advices needed! Please!

Helo..im a newbie...i realli need help..

I'm currrently running my computer(AMD Athlon(tm)XP 2000+,1.67GHz,256 MB RAM.Currently using fruity loops v.4 & cool edit pro 2.0 which i downloaded.

Now i wanna invest in soundcard & a midi keyboard.

I'm thinking of buying M-Audio 2496 & also Oxygen 8.

Should i consider others?

Should i invest on other stuff?

I'm scared that the stuff i buy will not work with my fruity loops

I'm currently learning sampling..im using fruity slicer to chop my samples..

those soundcard/keyboard is a good start... Id also pop some more ram in your comp

any pro soundcard should work with FL

I like the midi keyboard Idea, you could also check up on gettin some Mpd 16 middi pads too, that would be hot. You on the right track though.
