8 track/ comp problem

hey yall , i just recorded for the first time with a roland 8 tracks thru the zip drive so I got the tracks on my Comp but when it gets on the computer its under .vs1 format. how do i change it?? any help would be so appreciated thanks yall

I'm pretty sure you have to record it into your computer man. I don't think you can just take that whole session and bring up an audio wave. I could be wrong though..
