I'm sorry Fame Keyz The low Blows Have come to an end!! but on the production credits for that nas song it said as phillisari shared with us that the programing and keyboards were done by someone else from Em's production team and in order for Em's man to get top dollar for the track Em had to say it was his because his man would have gotten peanuts if he was able to get to nas himself.....same thing was going on wit irv gotti and seven arilus much different situation but if you read the credits on those murder pink albums it say produced by Irv gotti all instruments and key borads palyed by seven

Just because it's on of his biggest singles doesn't mean Dre produced it Dre only got credit for four songs and only two of the were not co produced by someone

I didnt say dre produced it because its one of his biggest single's i was asking if dre did 21 questions out here on the radio they say 21 questions produced by dr dre.

haha, and then there was silence... Yo fame, aren't you on futureproducers too?

And by the way... He probably "GAVE" the track to him, but he got compensated somewhere down the line... Probably in points on the album (more than usual)... I'm pretty sure NAS knows Eminem didn't do ALL of the production on the track.

These artists and producers have teams of people who they collaborate with and or produce all together... It's just the artist/producers name that gets the track sold. It also means alot to the artist. I mean look, we're in here talkin' about eminem and dre tracks, no one would be talkin' about it if the track said some no-name's government on it... That's what the artist wants, you talkin' about his track! Sometimes the producers are the ones who make the tracks and sometimes it's the "TEAM", whether it be because the producers too busy workin' on a bigger project or whatever, he gets the final say in the finished product and it's his name that sells the track...

Dre has a production team. 5 man team I believe. He programs some beats but the majority of them he doesn't. He just has the producer's 'ear' and that's what is worth the $$$.

do your homework. just because it says so on the inlays
doesn't mean it really is that way. then again, i'm not quite
sure what type of producing are we discussing here,
the traditional kind where the producer just makes sure the music
that the musicians play sounds right, or the more popular version
in hiphop, where the producer actually does the music himself.
if we're discussing the latter, dre is really getting props for no
reason, since he doesn't play the keys (scott storch) or the bass
(whoever that guy on the 2001 booklet photos is) and he
surely does not program the drums (mel man) so where is
his beatmaking? he'll be in the control room telling the session
players "okay play the intro for bumpy's lament".
but if we're discussing the traditional type of producing then
yes, he knows his stuff.

and yes, he is the west coast puff daddy.

as far as originating g funk, erick sermon was doing that thing
long before him.

Otniel--You're absolutely right and far as that g-funk thing with warren g ...warren did that himself ith no help(production) from dre...no discredit to the green eyed bandit he did start a whole hip hop funk thing whit the cross over and later on his solo album
