ummmmmmmmmm well with that note looks like i am jumping back into the sampling business. as soon as my ep is finished, i am putting these babies to good use. i couldnt pass up the deal.... so, i am picking them up today after work. now to find a cheap record player. cant wait.

YO COLD....I JUST STARTED SAMPLING OFF RECORDS.........I WENT TO GUITAR CENTER AND PICKED UP A NEWMARK TT 1600 TURNTABLE FOR 79.00 (IT WAS 150.00, ON SALE FOR 99.99...BROUGHT IN A COPY OFF A ONLINE STORE FOR 79.99, AND THEY GAVE IT TO ME FOR 79.99)....BUT ANYWAY...IT'S BRAND NEW AND CHEAP ENUFF, AND ITS A GOOD BRAND, SO FOR 80 BUCK YOU GOT A PRETTY GOOD DEAL AND TURNTABLE....JUST GIVING U A HEADZ UP....HOLLLA...INCOG

well, what i saw was dinah washington and a few disco records. i figure there a few gems in there and for that price....... it'll be a minute before i start sampling though, around november/december. if anything, you'll hear "inspirations" from these records. they'll put me in a mood to create something similar....

anyways i also saw a hammond organ for $100 but i dont want all that hassle (it was badly out of shape, andi dont know enough of vintage organs and electric pianos to know wether it was worth restoring)

i think sampling will be much more natural now, since i my arranging skills have dramatically increased since i stopped. i have a much better ear now, plu si know a lot more in terms of processing.
