They BEEN talked about doing this
and when the news about it got out, it supplemented more sales.

Still, if it finally goes out it wont mean the end of turntables or vinyl or anything like that. Products come, they have a life and then they die, speaking in marketing terms at least, cause they will live on forever. Plus there will be no shortage of ppl selling on ebay.

The only company that's stood by the scratch DJ's over the years is Vestax. A lot of that is because of Qbert but it would be nice to see Vestax take the Technics blue prints and make their own bullet-proof turntable tank.

LMAO! Seriously, I would like to get my hands on the last 2 coming of the line. They would definitely go in a showcase in my home. Techniques have been the DJ's standard forever. There may be some tables that are so called "better". But there isn't a table on the market with the track history like the original "wheels of steel".

the difference here is that I can't think of ANY product made anywhere that has been around for nearly 40 years with only minor changes made to it.

The biggest change came from the original to the MKII. The original had a rotary pitch control and the mkII has the slider we've come to associate with DJ decks. So, in reality, make that just over 30 years with only minor changes.

This is a product that has outlived many of the people that used it.

I'm good y'all. Just been busy and mentally drained of all things hip hop.

No worries tho, I have a new joint to post up later. Would have done it earlier today but I can't get to soundclick or any other sites like it to review everyone's music from here at the office.
