Digi 001 and pro-tools 6.9
Yup. Digi stopped supporting the 001 with PTLE 6.4. Really, there's no good reason for it other than to force you to upgrade your hardware. At least you can still get 6.4 from Digi, my Audiomedia III card was dropped with 6.1 and they no longer have it available. -
ProTools M Powered
For anything having to do with Rewire, virtual synths and fx, Cubase, then Sonar are lightyears away from ProTools. For multitrack audio, all three are about the same, to be honest. For audio/video sync, ProTools if better. As an all around package, Cubase and Sonar, hands down.
