Smif-N-Wessun ft Talib kweli 'We Came Up (Crystal Stair)' - DJ Excellence remix

Fits perfectly! Maybe dropping the drums out for chorus time? Again just my preference on a little change up, even half a bar drop out here or there would just elevate the experience for the listener (well me anyway) Dope stuff again though!!

[FREE] Griselda x Westside Gunn x Conway The Machine Type Beat 2024 -GRISELDA - FANTOM 91

That intro is sick! Lovin the gutter vibe in this. I dig this shit!

Prodigy 'Power Rap' (DJ Excellence remix)

I’m currently unsure whether @DJ Excellence is a human or robot with all this output, I can’t keep up with the feedback :ROFLMAO: Feel this, dope choice of sample melody, real smooth. Drums on point, subtle bass and leaving clear room for Prodigy’s vocals. No constructive criticism on this...

Griselda x Westside Gunn x Conway The Machine Type Beat 2024 - MONSTERS ARE REAL - FANTOM 91

Got that gritty vibe! Bit repetitive though and I’d clean up the drums as there is some clipping / clash on parts at the end of the drum loop, sounds like an out of place kick. A more prominent bass in the mix would add to the beat in my opinion.

Raekwon 'The Faster Blade' (DJ Excellence remix)

    Like the melody to this!

Action Bronson 'Tan Leather' (DJ Excellence remix)

Smooth chill vibe. At first I thought the levels may be a bit low but once Bronson came in, all’s good. Nice one!

Benny The Butcher 'Legend' (DJ Excellence remix)

Sounds dope all together and mixing wise. I personally would have liked something a bit more gritty melody wise added to give it some extra character and to compliment Benny's Vibe. Nice though, melody kind of mesmerising.

Song Roast! - Fly Sh#t Only (AI Art Video)

The visualiser looks dope but just gets boring and repetitive for me so yeah it’s good but then it’s like I’m bored looking at this now ya know? Song roast wise, nothing here to roast for me, some fly shit! Sounds great man, dope work!

WC ft Case 'Flirt' (DJ Excellence remix)

Old school vibes. Love the drums slapping. Track is perfectly spaced giving plenty of room for vocals. Some of the ‘singing’ parts sound slightly off key with the melody, other than that dope joint!

    Roast my song - Jammin'

I feel this man. Catchy hook / chorus. Brass is dope and drums on point.

    Salt-N-Pepa 'Expression' (DJ Excellence remix)

Yes and no here for me. Feel it’s not quite the vibe for the track personal opinion of course. Props for even attempting, I’ve got a salt n pepa track thats still sat on my Mpc as I couldn’t seem to hit the vibe. I think it’s because they were so unique and expressive and brought that energy...

    Orbital - By Inflated Sac

Nice bounce to this! Sounds used give me retro vibes with a current beat if that makes sense. Dope stuff, fresh too.

Skemen 'Under Pressure' (DJ Excellence remix)

I like this, good job. Feeling that snare too!

MF DOOM 'Beef Rapp' (DJ Excellence remix)

Vibe is all good, dope drums, slow head nodder. 1 thing for me is that the acapella isn’t the best and can be heard in places. I’ve had to ditch some concepts due to the acapella being too muddy. Beats dope and fits nice with Doom, just could do with a crisp cleaner acapella but not always...

    STRUGGLE

I like the grittiness at the beginning then that dope bass comes in! Lots of elements, drums sound great and punchy. Lovin the creativity, dope.

What motivates you to keep making beats?

Just love the creativity and putting a beat together. Often start with chosen bpm and lay down the hats. Then I might chop up some samples and play them out for a bit or lay drums down first. Been using a few plugin instruments lately to play out a certain vibe. Either way it’s the enjoyment...
