i def. agree with you, khrysis is a much better producer, just because he mixes up his beat making techniques. all of 9ths tracks sound the same to me. dont get me wrong he is good at making beats, but he should try to experiment with some other techniques, just so he doesnt get the same... -
Vinyl Samplin for FL
yeah i know of no other device that plays vinyl except a turntable, so yes you do need turntables -
FL Studio 6 Available Now
yeah i just upgraded to the FL6 from FL5, there are some nice changes they made to the program -
assigning to the mpd
go to the fruity loops website and if you are a regestered member they have tutorials on how to do this, for the FL5, but i'm sure it is the same as the FL6 -
New machine to run Fl studio
yeah that looks fine, maybe get a little more memory for it, i'de suggest at least a 1 gig. you also might have to get a new sound card, check out the emu, they have nice soundcards. i suggest going to www.ubid.com, you can find some real nice deals on some computers.................got my... -

New Software...?
You can eliminate most of it but you will still be able to hear a little of the track. I think in the october or novemeber issue of scratch magazine goes into good detail about how to do this in pro tools. I was reading it one day, but couldnt try it, dont have that software. -
sampletank/sonik synth question
yeah i would go with the sampletank, i dont have the sonik synth but the sampletank has a wide variety of nice sounds to use. DEF go with the sampletank -

Good lookin......thanks for the help! I'll try that. I do have vinyl cleaner and i usually clean every record before i'm about to record it into my computer, but i got some records at the salvation army for like 50 cents and they are pretty bad shape, i might just have to call them a loss even... -
Gettin loops into FL....???
just export you sample as a WAV (just go to file and look for export as WAV in cool edit pro) and just go into fruity loops and open the file and dump it into the sequencers, very easy........ -

okay first if you dont have a turntable then you cant use vinyl but sometimes i download hard to find mp3s with a nice sound quality from I tunes and burn them on a cd and dump them in cool edit pro and chop them up. If i were you i would buy a similar program to chop you samples. of course... -
