Its user error, you can do both of those things. But I dont look at it as a replacement for an MPC anyway, maschine is a better replacement.- thedreampolice

Are you recording to your internal hard drive? and Damn it your gonna make me fire up pro tools arent you lol I believe you go to setup and the playback, but I cant remember poke around there.- thedreampolice

Update the ASIO drivers for the Maudio and make sure you are using the Maudio ASIO drivers in FL.- thedreampolice

@Mrbendointhis Try emptying the contents of your Windows "Prefetch" folder. also try lowering your DAE Playback Buffer (NOT your H/W Buffer Size?) Try setting it to 0 and see if that helps. Try increasing the cache size too. Also do you only have one hard drive? That may also be a problem...- thedreampolice
