use your ears when judging this, cant really give u a percentage amount because some peoples snares, kicks, etc. are at different levels when recording them. If you have monitors just use your ears and you should be fine........... -

akai mpd16 question
Alright i just bought an AKAI MPD16, i just ran into some money and got one. I setup everything, installed all the drivers and have it working good in FL6. But the question i have is, is there anyway you can assign the 16 pads to what note you would want to play in the piano roll? It seems... -

you could put some swing on your drums or offset the kicks and snares a little to make them sound better, sorry i cant listen to the track at school in the lib. but i will check it out later.............. -
