How many of you actually write your own songs?
i do whatever i feel like!!! i mostly do everything on my xp-80 and my MPC but i began with an sp 202 and dr 202 and so everything was a sample. it just depends..... forget about hip hop, rock.... forget genres period. its just about msic itself. most of my tracks people say they couldnt here...- Cold Truth

Best Producers at the moment?
Pherrell is seriously overated. anyone else notice that he tends to use the exact same drumlines, or close variations? i mean, musically he knows more and can do more than most.... but (the neptunes) just have a sameness to what they make. the N.E.R.D album was the best showcase of their skills...- Cold Truth
