    well, its like this: its going to cost me 250 for the 8 output expansion, plus 100 or so for a cd-r drive, and thats 350 dollars right there. plus i still need a mixer, thats like 2-300, and a cd burner is going to run me another 140 or so............ and all of this is shoping on the lower end...

    i just got the Motif Rack... that is the most amazing piece of equipment i have used. its real easy to use out the box and i havent even touched the software yet...... i think it has the best pallette of sounds out there, especially for the money.... but make sure you get a good controller...
