    ha ha, well I believe it will be an OS update so there would be no point of photos. On that note however, Relic as much as I hate to say it, the MPC studio may be a better fit for you than Maschine as it can load your old 2500 files. Now, I still see Maschine as the stronger player overall...

    yea you need a computer or ipad for ALL new mpc's. There is no longer a complete standalone MPC. Part of be is sad by this and part of me is like "about time!"

    yes this is a straight controller and is a real competitor to maschine. Now I still have my doubts about akai and software, where NI KNOWS software. But it is finally getting fun :)

    USe Blender for 3d, it is no Maya but it can get fantastic results. As far as the adobe stuff, you are stuck. I see no solution there.

    ok here is the best rule of thumb I have found. If your record will sell less than 50k copies, don't even worry about it PERIOD. If it will be licensed to sell for TV, Film and sell over 50k get a lawyer working on this NOW!

    yes, you are right. That is not a proper mastering chain :) biggest issue here is that your compressors and eq's will actually fight each other.

    Well, I don't thing this will slow Maschines momentum. And MPC users will snap with new one right up, but a hardcore MPC head probably would not have bought Maschine anyway. It is interesting times!
