    ha ha, got it :) Maybe using a different amp model? What are you using now in GTR? Not sure why you would change the pitch...or you could manually adjust the phase until it is where you want it? Those are a few quick ideas. Let us know what ends up working.

    ok got it, yup that won't really work. Double tracking implies recording the same part twice Tracking=Recording For your situation I would NOT double it or if you really need to put a small delay on it, like 1-3ms. But honestly Fuck mono, I don't really mix that way, or even think about it...

    I can't believe I missed this LMFAO at Dac, this was NOT built in Ableton, it was built with hardware. And thus proving my point. Reason is as flexible as hardware! Also he is NOT for example using a oscillator from an effect to trigger a synth.

    Oh man if you want realistic orchestra sounds hardware is ABSOLUTELY the wrong way to go. You need to #1 learn about orchestral arranging/micing (this takes a long time and lots of study but is very rewarding) I worked my butt off and finally was able to make something like this...

    I kind of disagree with this, at one point I felt I wanted to listen on every speaker possible, but now I think that approach can drive you crazy. Get some REALLY nice monitors in a REALLY nice room and learn them. Then make the best mix you can. And honestly, that's all you can do.

    Actually I agree with fade, 1200's are perfect. You know if you go to dj a club they will have them, if they break there are plenty of parts. The ONLY disagreement I had about 1200 is that they dont have even close to as much torq as some of the modern decks (ie my staton 120's), but who cares...
