    Why not use the internet to gather whatever samples you want and load them in the MPC, and not use the DGX for sounds at all? Do you have a computer that you can use for production? It may be cheaper to get your sounds that way.

    hey no worries bro! We are always all good. Its tough, because it person I am constantly cracking jokes, laughing and a bit sarcastic but when you try and type that in to a forum post it can come across as dickish sometimes so, my bad as well. Always fun to have a bit of a debate :)

    When you live on a peace of gear hours a day, for years and create a bunch of stuff on it. You become a bit attached. Its kinda cool. Maschine is faster and easier to use, but there totally is something special about those old mpc's!

    Yes, I stand by that. Dont get me wrong I am not saying you need to create ever snare from scratch or anything. But the overall end goal should be to create your unique sonic signature as a producer. Sorry, I thought this discussion was all in good fun, truly not trying to agitate. Its all good man!
