Much Props For The Article, Fade!

I agree with you for the most part. I personally like the "Oh Boy" beat that Blaze did for Cam'ron. But that's my opinion. Comparing that beat to "Mass Appeal" is kinda crazy cuz they are 2 different types of beats and songs. But I get what you mean...I too believe that the days of just using a...

Thanks for da props, homie. Your track sounds a lot better now. Thanks for re-upping it cuz I thought it was a smooth beat from jump street but the sample was just too low. One!

    factory or sampled drums

Both have their place in my production. It depends on the kind of track I am doing. Although, I love to sample my own drums. That's one of the fun parts of putting a beat together from scratch.

    lupe fiasco

That's too bad. Lupe is nice on the mic and he deserves more attention IMO. I agree with Grafik 100% - Politics rule the day when it comes to the music industry. That's why you see some artists with records out who suck ass but for some reason they got a record deal. Makes me wanna shit sometimes.

Thanks Bigdmakintrax. The bassline in my beat was off so I fixed it. If you wanna listen to it again, it sounds better.

    to fruity loop slicer users.

Reverb works wonders in not making a chop sound like a chop. Try that along with some other effects to smooth it out.

I went really way out there on this one. I hope ya'll are feeling this: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/songInfo.cfm?bandID=258196&songID=4228188 My reviews: djrekonize - I like the idea but the 1-2, 1-2 beat tempo was too mondane for my tastes. bigdmakintrax - This is pretty cool. Is the...

fl seems kinda limited to me...

Gotta throw my 2 cents in on this one....FL is da bomb. There isn't anything I want to do that I can't with FL. And I am pretty sure there are some things I don't even know I wanna do yet but I know FL will be able to do it. LMAO! The only limitation to FL is your imagination.

Tips for making each beats sound different???

The easiest way to make your beats sound different is just to make sure you use different samples, instruments, etc. Also use different tempo ranges as well. Vary as many different elements as possible and be creative.

    New beatmaking video (mpc2000)

It's cool to see someone make a beat even if it's not all that but man, I almost fell asleep. Kinda boring but I don't understand French so, him talking would have been pointless. LOL!

    Digital Diggin/Sampling Advice

I would chop it up using Adobe Auditon then import the wavs to FL 6. That's what I use but I am sure Acid would work too. I have that but I don't use it. Do you mind if I do something with this too? This track is scraming for me to chop it up.
