    ASIO and FL in Vista Home Basic???

    I have no problem running FL 7 in the new Vista OS. But when I install ASIO4ALL, when I pull up the ASIO panel while in FL 7 is doesn't show that I have a WDM driver to support ASIO. I obviously can't hear anything when I switch to ASIO4ALL. I was wondering if there is a way I can fix this...

    I would never buy any of those drum sample CDs. I did before and I can make my own better or just as good for less money. It's just not worth it to me. I would rather spend the money on old records and maybe some quality sample CDs of old records and what-not.

    Yeah, I agree with MourninDaKnight. Just because you want to perfect your "sound" who's to say your sound isn't a conglomerate of composition and sampling? I bet if you perfect using them together, you may come up with a sound all your own you never thought of.

    Hmmmmm. I don't think it matters as much as how creative a beat maker you are. You can use a ukelele, a banjo, a turntable and a cassette deck. If you are madd creative, you can make hot shit with "weird" instruments. Just my opinion. As it goes, I use FL Studio exclusively but I am entertaining...
