2000 vs. 2000xl
Aight, I got my eye on a MPC 2000. Now, I have played with the 2000xl and I have read the differences between the two. To me it sounds like the 2000 would just be a total downgrade but it is much more affordable for me and it is an MPC. Basically, what I am looking for in this thread is a MPC...- eXampuL_oNe

Yeah, quantize is still good to use (I'm far from perfect without quantize). But, I like the feel and freedom of not using it. Especially when you want to get fancy with the keys.- eXampuL_oNe

I just tried this with a couple of new joints and the outcome was ill! When I use to try it my timing wasn't as good. Lately, I have been playin around on a set of drums at this studio and my timing and drumming skills have gotten much better. I found that if you do it right it sounds alot...- eXampuL_oNe

First off, Why the hell are you using the factory FL sounds? Them sounds are the worst shits ever (except for a couple). U need some .VST plug-ins, drum kits and you will be all set. Fruity Loops is a monster if you know how to use it. Good Luck..- eXampuL_oNe
