It's because when you go to the club.. you get drunk... so why not listen to drunk music. You know the music that sounds like YAHRRHHHH to a sober person, but means "Get Low Shorty dance wit it" to a drunk dancer. -

Trigger fingr issues
In Reason.. go Edit>Preferrences>Busses. There are 4 or 5 busses you can add. on Bus A select M-audio Trigger Finger. As long as the Trigger finger has all the pads at the correct Octive it should work with Redrum. -

Enhance Your Reason Tracks With Stereo Separation
are you adding the Vocoders to the Master Audio Device at the very top? cause if you have the Mixer hitting the Vocoder to the Audio Out put you should have the access to adjust it. -

Not like the NNXT, But the Dr Rex has the Pitch and Octive adjustment for each indivdual chop. NNXT allows outside Effects devices for indivual chops. Dr Rex only has the option to adjust the individual chops within the Dr.Rex device. -
quantizing
Unaware of a Swing Quantize, But if you make your drums in Redrum, there is a Swing Button you can hit and then at the bottom of Reason where the player is on the far right is a Swing knob. -

Mpc and TriggerFinger?
well think of the Trigger Finger Being the Pads Of the MPC. Still completely Different Items, MPC's Process Sounds and Beat formation, While the Trigger Finger is Just a Controller. But if you Like FL then get the Trigger Finger as it is Cheaper and is designed for the Computer Musician. -
