    I trying to get protools to sync with my mpc. I used to do it thru the midi beat clock when i had the digi 001. I sold that, went another route, and now I'm back except no digi 001. My midi is coming from the UNO 1x1. I can make the mpc start and stop pro tools, but I want pro tools to start...

    The MPC is like an extention of your musical essence. What you feel the MP can manifest it.

    Not using quanitze in your beats.

    I never use quantize for my basslines or my keys, unless I'm looking for that tight vibe. I like my basslines to be loose and swing.

    The jv 1010 is a cool sound module to cop depending on the price. You can get some good use out of most of the patches also.

    I used to midi reason thru my MP, and then rewire in pro tools. thats probably the easiest way to do it.
