I have a beat that will be featured on an album but it says, hand written on my returned application, that my release date can't be in the future.     blood bruthaz is right. It's not $30 a track but $30 to copyright whatever is on the cd. If you have one beat on the cd then that beat just cost you $30 to copyright. If you put 45 second snippits of say 30 beats on one cd, it'd cost you $30 as well. Get as much on there as you can.
