    I'm using the Fruity Slicer. I chop the part of the sample that I want to work in Adobe and then really chop it up in FL.

    Like with my most recent rack, "Just Enough", I had the song at 90 BPM, but the sample was actually faster than it so it sounded all streched out. How do you guys deal with this by still keeping the BPM of the song at what it is?

    Do you get any latency problems? I can't even play my mixes when I'm in Sonar with low buffer rates or the audio'll drop out right when I hit play.

    Right now I have the EMU 1212m, but the PatchMix that is used to program it is frustrating and for me, hard to use. The quality is nice, but it's complicated. Any recommendations for a new soundcard that's easy to use and also has good quality?

    Rewire Latency

    I'm using Sonar as the host and FL as the client and with my Trilogy bass I'm getting latency with the notes being about a quarter note off. I'm not sure why though, the other instruments sound fine, it's just this one. Any help? It would be cool if I could get an answer ASAP cuz I was gonna use...

    lol this dude is dumb. Doesn't really matter what you use to get the end product. The MPC just makes it easier on the person. There's no bragging rights for not using one and making a sampled beat lol.
