So back to business, what do you think of my latest beat?

I'll flip it the right way to avoid any cross-border confusion. I was in the US Marines many moons ago, but at this stage of my life, I'm just here to smoke weed and make beats.

It's supposed to be red, white, blue facepaint messing around in DALL-E. I'm a hardcore 'Merican my man.

    Greatest Prod. By WaLi_RaW_BeatZ

Really clean sounds. I like the hat and perc patterns, they're not overdone but blend nicely. Melody is chill too. Can tell you've been doing this for some time! How long you been making beats?

Hey @wali_raw thanks for listening to my track. Trying to return feedback but the link's asking me to login and I don't have IG. Though this is a reminder that I probably need to get on all social's (unfortunately haha).

Diggin Thru Crates Is A Habit

I was young and getting ready to ship off in the military so sold pretty much everything I owned. I only had it for about a year and was my first piece of hardware after a few years of using FL and other software and I remember struggling to get used to hardware.

    Is my name cool?

that's a cool story. I always wondered why you sometimes told me to scream mister fade as part of the initiation. mine has some personal music connection to it, though random and from childhood. growing up there were a couple years where my childhood bedroom looked like an unorganized record...

    Breathe

I think there's opportunity to make some of the annunciation sound cleaner and more natural, it sounds forced when you're rhyming and sometimes inconsistent/unnatural to the ear (the "I in team" line comes to mind).

    Keeping it retro

Cole: sample is dope and drums are on point. there where some parts of the beat where I felt the supporting instruments/vocals could have been a hair louder but admittedly it's also hard for my mind sometimes whenever I hear a known acapella over a new beat to really listen with 'fresh' ears...

Boner Beats.com and I'll have the intro from my last battle submission playing on repeat.

Are you sober when making beats?

There is a quote "write drunk; edit sober" that I've see referenced on topics about innovation. I'm sure there are many variations.

    Is my name cool?

Dusty B was the name I used back when I was a teen and now I'm revitalizing it as I've gotten back into the swing of things. But now that I'm starting to build my YT and other pages... what say you? Should I take this opportunity to rebrand or fuck it and keep it Dusty? I know it's up to me but...
