steinbergs wavelab is the way to go. the montage in wavelab is awesome. you could do just about anything in wavelab. plus the plugins dont cost you an arm and a leg. it beats the hell out of cool edit, sound forge and everything else you moght want to throw on the table. i know cause i used all... -
gettin faster
i can do about 3-4 beats a day. i could do more but i also have a studio to run in which i have to edit and mix tracks. out of a 24 hr day i might spend 12 hours engineering and 6 hrs making tracks. on the other hand if all i have to do is edit and mix then i would spend about 12 hrs making... -

Sampling Question
if you use autochromatic make sure you do that first . if you dont you will loose everything all samples on your pads. -

yo mr. black export your files into ,lets say cubase "do not" process any files in reason. do not maximize.or normalize. once you export mix in cubase. again "do not process". when your finished mixing in cubase use export and save to hard drive. close cubase and open wavelab. now process. be... -

yo you would be better off with a version of steinbergs cubase. like vitaminman said it also depends on your sound card. but with cubase you can do so much more. and vst plugins you can get all day for free on the net. i know for a fact that once you start recording your vocals you are going to... -
