100% Sample Based -vs- Slightly Composed
I prefer to do whatever works. If a sample runs well then I sample. If I lay some keys down that feel great then I compose. They are both tools in the bag when it comes down to it. I think producers who are biased towards one or the other are really just cutting an arm off and eliminating one... -

Personally my mind races far too much to find a non stimulating exercise to shut off and not stress. Sure I could go for a walk find a hobby to sit down and do, but my mind still takes off on whatever may be troubling me at that time.
