sonar 6 vids

stupid sampling question
i'm trying to be abler to just use one program for everything. sequencing, mixing, and recording, and i think that sonar has an awesome midi sequencing thing, but i just don't know how to use it yet. so, i am trying to learn. -
Apples, And oranges.. But why Reason over FL?
i guess people always think reason is better, because more people have access to fl, and they're all wannabe producers who think just because they have the program, they're awesome. but with reason, it's less accesible(sible? sable?), and less people use it. i dunno. my two cents. -

stupid sampling question
i used fl studio for quite some time, and i'm looking to start using sonar for making the entire beat. so, i have no idea how to sample in it. is there any specific method? how would you go about choppping samples? is there any specific plugins you could use? sorry for the stupidity. -

epiphany?
i just had a thought. if you wanted that tube sound that the triton has, but you want it for other keyboards, couldn't you just use a tube preamp? that would solve all problems. and i'm sure that they just stick a tube in the keyboard. i dunno. am i crazy? -
SAMPLETANK Issues
i have this problem occasionally, too. i usualy just restart fl studio and it usually fixes the problem, but sometimes it doesn't, so i wish i could help you there. it might be that you hold keys or the sustain down on your midi controller while loading sampletank. i dunno.
