I know how you feel man, it's some days where i cant seem to do anything right, and when i listen to other hip hop songs, i get frustrated comparing my music to theirs. You just have to be satisfied with the music yourself and want to keep doin it.
Thanks to every one for their reviews.
Emeezy-Nice chops. I like how you put the little stab in there to give in some more energy
2good-nice sequencing on the strings, but the sample sounds a like it has too much high end. anyway, nice chops.
Slik Da Relic- this is real nice right...

Man big ups to graf! He didnt have to do any of this. Thanks to him my mp3 collection is gonna be real diverse. Im gonna try and put together a few tracks over this week, even though i cant post cause i'm on dial up.
Now i've seen some of the previous topics on breaks, and i don't think my questions apply to those. I was watching the documentary on diggin and somebody mentioned the drummer for james brown ( i cant think of his name right now). Anyway, i wanted to know if some drummers for singers put out...
I think it would be a good idea if i could put together a remix album, it could get me the exposure that i need. Similar to how 9th Wonder did God's Stepson. I just want to know where could i get the acapella's for more current albums.
I'm currently using Sonar 5 and i was wonderin if there is a way for sonar to open up a file and find the tempo of it. Every time i want to do a remix, i have to cut up the verses, which makes it sound chopped up.
I've been listening to some 9th Wonder tracks, and i've noticed how his beats have a loose, unquantized feel to them. The reason i use him as an example is because he does all of his beats in step sequencer. I want to program beats strictly with the redrum in case i have my laptop without my...
Well i've been serious for about a year now, but i've been playin around with acid and mixman. so i would estimate about 3 years now. I usually spend about 4-5 hours per week because of my schoolwork.
I just heard a joint on music choice with Busta Rhymes and Raekwon(crazy joint) It's really got me hyped up for the album
Now i got the recent scratch mag and read the rza article, but i'm wondering what label they were droppin it on and if they knew a release date yet
Yo good lookin on all these joints man. I got to get my paper up so i could buy these joints. I like buying cd's one or two at a time so i can take a real good listen to them. It's gonna take a minute but i'm gon have an ill collection
I was wonderin if you could suggest some classic albums from the 90's for me to get. I already got some tribe called quest, Nas, Jay, Biggie. i'm bout to get Pete Rock and CL Smooth. Also list some sleeper joints that i might not know of.
