Second installment of lyric videos for the new album, Bastard. Produced and mixed by @Armani with myself (Malt Liruoqs) on the pen and mic. I produced the video as well.
Bastard album is out everywhere...
okay.. starts too chill. lol. The bells are nice with the playful keys. Would like a more defined melody. This is a cool beat. I think for sure the right guy could come in and make it shine, leaves a lot of room for soemone to do work.
i didn't play the whole thing. damn 5 minutes.. but i skipped forward when i seen how much was left and there's a lot more nice shit.. I don't like the toms though.. the rest of the drums and fills are nice and impactful. but yeah, the tom was a bad sound choice. Literally the only real knock...
kick drum is nice. I like the strings when they come in, bass is a little different for this type of beat i usually hear. Good use of different styles there. The crashes and percussion hype it up nice as fuck. Breakdown is good. Could maybe do something different there with the melody as well...
@Armani and I have teamed up for a 9 track EP. He dropped the beats. I dropped the vocals. This is the first single off the upcoming release. I rhyme under the name Malt Liruoqs.
The album is called “Bastard” and will be out in weeks.
I made the video. I ain’t shit with after effects. But fuck...
Damn chill. Drum and bass sounds solid. Really goes well together.

It’s a sick sample. I agree that it’s repetitive at a point. Try to get some more out….. oh okay. You do just as I was saying that.
This feels like shit I used to make. And I have the same criticism that I dealt with..
With these type of sample beats when you have a very short repetitive bar...
Don’t usually comment on remixes if I don’t know the source material. Unless I know the instrumental is original. Then I can comment more on the production. In this case I wanted to comment on the mix. The vocals are not mixed well. It’s one thing to get the right tempo and shit for the...
After “kill me right here”. Whatever you added…. Oh……. You took it eventually in that direction altogether…. Naw. IMHo get rid of all that sax shit. That vibe you had before you switched it up is what you should build off. I would honestly just scrap the sax angle. You were cooking for a minute.
