@mercurywaters - really like the sample. wasn't feeling the choice of kick drum, but that's just me. still a nice track.
@risk - trap ain't my thing, but i think you've got it for the most part. maybe should've brought the 808 a bit sooner, and added more of the strings in the main verse.
@nobodyelse - i don't know why this makes me think of busta. reminds me of "pass the courvosier" maybe? nonetheless, it's a nice track. like the female vocals, and the eddie murphy scratch. did i hear some kurtis blow "so why does it have to be so damn tough" in there? good job.

@riskmusik - not a fan of the style at all but it sounds solid for what it is. can't really poke any holes in it.
@nobodyelse - i hear mac-10 on this. got a nice west coast vibe. good all around. could maybe use a change up in there
@wrightboy - man this is sad. this sounds like a story where the hero dies at the end or a bloody murder. sounds good so far. i think a nice piano melody would set this off.

Soulful Vibe
Mercurywaters. Love this, a real chill vibe. I love the drums. Great variation. Would be a nice beat to use for scratching over.
Riskmusic. this one gets a little bit monotonous and sounds a little thin, could use some more variation, and a thicker kick. I agree with wrightboy about the 808, that could thicken it up nice.
I like that second beat you posted, some good variation, the bassline could be a bit stronger though.
NobodyElse. This is dope, sounds slightly middle eastern. Would really suit placement in an afganistan/iraq/libya/syria war film. Really love the bassline and percussion. Ill.
Wrightboy. This has a soundtrack feel to it, some real pain and struggle in life type thing. I would like to hear a longer version with a bit of progression.

@MercuryWaters - I'll agree with wrightboy, it was a really nice sample. As far as the genre/vibe, it's not my style so I can't really groove to it as much as the other. All-n-all it's still a nice track tho'. Nice job fam.

Sorry for the delay I got in some much needed overtime at work last night... BUT ANYWAYSSSSSS on to the reviews... @MercuryWaters You have a nice chill mellow groove with a forward (in years) progressive sound. I really dig it, and this is the direction I see music going moving into the future. Cool underground vibe with a crisp overall sound to match. Good Work! @RiskMuzik, I was waiting for Jeezy or 2 Chainz to come in and start rapping. I think your DVD tutorials and/or studying is paying off. Your joint sounds like authentic trap muzik and I would suggest you keep doing your thing cause it sounds like you're moving in the right direction. Good Work! @Wrightboy This is a very mysterious and intriguing joint. It sounds like some real sinister, underworld, spy type action is about to take place. All the sounds are on point and place lovely. The progression of your arrangement builds beautifully and leaves me hanging as the track abruptly ends.. Dope!! @2Good Illvibe is a nice peice of work. The arrangement is subtly sprinkled with jazzy undertones and laid out well. Soulful Vibe is a bouncy happier joint.. It makes me think about taking a boat ride through the waters of Peru. The sounds are on point and the track itself is cohesively well put together.
mercurywaters: im digging this.. fantastic beat pattern. and that synth that comes in the end, beauty!... real good vibe music. melody line is also a beauty!. sounds very good produced.
nobodyelse: i got a crazy girl on my tale for the moment so this was perfect for me. high class producing. I also like the cutting. base is nice, synth, everything is very good mixed for me. Ill skills....

Riskmuzik: This is good, you are really learning fast i must say... Those synths in here are really good. The bounce is absolutely there, good work. baseline is really nice, i like the breakups in here also.

@wrightboy - this is a movie bro. not a movie soundtrack, thought it could be one. i mean this beat is an entire movie, story unfolding. the sounds you chose are superb, the arrangement is and the mix is tight.
@2Good-the first one is a home run bro. the 2nd is like a double, not a home run,but still good.
