This genius piece of technology absolutely has a lot of kinks to be worked out with future updates. Even without a single update though Akai has really stepped up what is expected of production hardware companies in the future. This is what we want, this is what we NEED. The future is here, make the best out of it. If all u ever use this app for is to entertain yourself while on the road, it will still be the best $7 you ever spend on your studio. Thoughts or opinions?

im somewhat anti mac/apple/anything with an "i" in it, but id get an ipad for a mpc app lol. does it have velocity sensitivity or dnt matter how hard you hit the "pads"?

Yes! It's just like the real MPCs it's just obviously not as advanced. It's still new and I'm sure the things that r wrong w it will be fixed in future updates. There isn't very many tracks but it has 1,200 samples, 50 editable programs and 80 editable sequences. U can adjust attack, velocity, length and tuning and share wirelessly to ur computer or straight to soundcloud. It is in no way a replacement for a REAL beat machine but u also can't buy a beat machine for $7! Useful in the right hands, useless in the wrong ones. Btw I grew up on PCs and now I have straight ieverything lol I used to be a Apple curmudgeon but once I got into it I couldn't figure out how I ever lived without it! But just like DAWs, I always recommend ppl use whatever makes them most comfortable. Although Macs really r the shit, granted I have custom built ones.
