    Wow, I am mos def on the same boat. I have been slacking, but I know the cause. I haven't been working because my equiptment just doesn't enthuse me. Clicking away in Reason isn't my idea of beat making, I'm just waiting on a couple more paychecks so that I can get some hardware and be on my way...

    How do you choose your Drums?

    I generally use "fillers", and make a drum pattern. Then after the sample/melody is played out I will either replace these "fillers" or eq them to enhance the track. In my opinion the drums always have to fit the mood of the song.

    Yup, when I set it to play out my M-Audio card, it still plays out the soundblaster.

    I already have the latest drivers, and if I deactivate the intergrated soundcard I can't use Windows Media to listen to music, because it won't accept my M-Audio card. Thanks for the help but unless theres a way around Windows Media's Default soundcard I'm stuck.

    Any and all RTAS plug-ins can be used with PT M-Powered. The Waves Diamond plug-ins are good, so are some of the ones that come with PT.

    I find when my speakers are connected to my M-Audio 2496 they tend to buzz. This does not happen when the same speakers are connected to my SoundMax intergrated soundcard. What couldI do to solve this?

    How do you do it in Reason? Reason really needs a Timestrech feature, especially with the new wave of Hip-Hop users sampling in it.
