Yo...I'm new in this mutha and I go by the name of Da World Famous and my company is named VI King International Productions. I have been producing and making tracks since about 1992. My production style is all about the east coast with a heavy sampled influence. I have over 7000 albums in my collection, and to me no genre of music is off limits, everything with a rhythm can be assaulted. My first sampler that i owned was an ASR-X pro and I had it loaded up with over 3 minutes of sample time...I loved that damn machine. Now I use Acid Pro 6, Reason3, Soundforge for editing, and Cubase LE for recording...This is all I need to make it happen.

i am looking foward to talking to all the fellow producers and sharing knowledge and ideas with you. Like I said I'm new and I need help in here until I am familiar with what's good. And a little freindly competition isn't bad either. I just hope that the dudes in here are respectful of everyone's ideas. we don't need the hatin'...We need to uplift each other ya digg?

Welcome to Illmuzik. I look forward to hearing your tracks in the showcase, nothing wrong with a bit of friendly competition, there is a beat this competition once a month too, with various themes.
Theres not too much hate around here, and some good feedback in the showcase.
I use pretty much most of the same tools you use, Acid, Reason, Soundforge and I record in Pro Tools.
