What's Up everyone my name's Chad. I'm just now getting into Hip Hop production, but I been doing music my whole life. I play trombone, and the keyboards. I make all my beats on my Linux PC, because the software is free and I'm a broke college student. I play my keyboards and chop up my samples in audacity, and then I load them into my Software Drum Machine, a program called Hydrogen

Welcome to IllMuzik! I've been messing with Linux off and on, how is it making beats with it?

Its alright once you get the hang of it. The one issue is that a lot of VST plugins don't work without putting in a lot of work, since they're designed for windows and all. But as far as the drum machine, I like hydrogen better than using a lot of Windows programs because its much more intuitive in my opinion. Its real cool once you find a lot of sounds to load up on it.

Ya it seems like it, I've tried using Hydrogen for a bit, seems pretty fuckin solid so far.
